Gray Works Design proudly supports Catskill Mountainkeeper, a non-profit grassroots advocacy organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the long term health of the six counties of the Catskill Region. Catskill Mountainkeeper monitors critical environmental issues such as proposed natural gas drilling in the Marcellus Shale, which threatens to poison our groundwater, including the NYC watershed.

At the heart of Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary’s mission is the hands-on work of rescuing, rehabilitating and caring for farm animal refugees, as well as educating the public about the horrific treatment of animals raised in large, industrial factory farm systems. Gray Works Design has donated to the sanctuary a large pine bench, and an elegant catalpa picnic table, which are currently in use at their visitor’s center. Please visit all the lucky and beloved cows, turkeys, sheep, pigs, goats, roosters and friends, located on beautiful route 212 in Willow, NY.

A landmark beacon on the Hudson River, the Saugerties Lighthouse is a venerable red brick lighthouse built in 1869 at the mouth of the Esopus Creek. The Saugerties Lighthouse Conservancy maintains the lighthouse and adjacent lands for the enjoyment of the public. In 2008, Gray Works Design was commissioned by the Conservancy to custom build 5 large pine-slab picnic tables for public use.

Celebrated potter, Paul Wisotzky, started Blue Gallery at the very tip of Cape Cod in Provincetown, Massachusetts “as a way to bring fine craft to the Outer Cape. The area has a rich and diverse arts community but is strangely lacking in venues for fine craft artists to display and sell their work. I hope that Blue Gallery can help to fill that void.”
